C. What type of fleece is best? (Have had more people ask me this)
There isn't a best type. Different breeds have different fleece characteristics. In addition, some breeds, particularly more primitive ones, have a great deal of variability among individuals (if you've only tried spinning one Shetland fleece, that hasn't told you much about Shetlands).
If you want to sell some fleece, you need to get to know your local market. Potential buyers have their own needs and wants. People making rugs need very different wool than people making baby sweaters.
If you are selling to handspinners, talk to them. For a good learning experience, go to fleece shows, follow the judges around, and listen.
